Family Plumbers Since 1992

Three generations on Brighton's pipework. We pick up the phone, price the job before we start, and never disappear after the invoice clears.

Our Story

A Family Business, Three Generations Deep

Smith & Sons started in 1992 when Dave Smith senior took over a single van and a phone in a Hove garage. He had two rules: pick up the phone, and price the job before you start.

Thirty-three years later, those rules still run the firm. Dave Junior runs the office, grandson Tom is a Gas Safe engineer in his second year, and the same families that called us in '92 still call us today. We don't subcontract, we don't pad invoices, and we don't disappear after the job is done.

What Our Customers Say

Five-Star Reviews From Across Sussex

  • "Burst pipe at 2am on Christmas Eve. Tom was at the door in 40 minutes, fixed the leak, dried the carpet, and refused to charge the emergency surcharge. Customer for life."

    Sarah W. Hove
  • "Quoted me half what the previous firm did, did the bathroom in three days flat, and the work is immaculate. Properly straight people."

    Michael R. Kemptown
  • "Annual boiler service for six years running. Always on time, always tidy, and they actually explain what they did. Wouldn't use anyone else."
